Mad Art Studio was established by Madeleine Bamfield-Dillon - Mad to her friends (you can see where the name came from).  She studied in London and Manchester and worked for a number of years in the Advertising and Newspaper Industries, usually in creative positions.  Although busy in her career she always painted for pleasure and was often commissioned by friends.  The urge to become a full time artist was always there.  However, giving up a successful and lucrative career was not only the scariest decision she ever made but also the best.

 “I was very lucky to have the full support of my husband.” Madeleine says.  “I can’t believe it took me so long to do what I have always wanted to do.  I live in beautiful, inspiring countryside, I work at what I love doing, life is good”.

Madeleine feels that the best thing about living in the 21st Century is that her studio and business can be based exactly where she is happiest and yet modern technology allows her to introduce her artworks to clients worldwide.
